Solution: | 1) Ensure that the SQL service is installed under the local service and not under a user account. 2) Under the Sql Server Configuration Manager>SQL Server Network Configuration>Protocols for SQLRMS. Ensure that the shared memory is enabled and that the names popes and TPC/IP are disabled. |
Details: | If "SQL Server Browser" is still running, then this has to be stopped first. Then: 1) "SQL Server (<Instance>)" 2) Optional: "SQL Server Agent (<Instance>) 3) "SQL Server Browser" 4) "SQL Server CEIP Service (<Instance>) |
